Here's a few photos of the custom lift I built to transport my FEC100 the 20 miles to our competition trailer. I built this so I can get my smoker home after a comp without hauling the whole trailer back and forth.

I got the motorcycle lift from Harbor Freight on closeout. took off the legs, and t off the bottom. Then I welded a 2" square tube to slide into my trailer hitch on the Expedition.

I welded up a custom bar for the front of the lift that slides into the end of the square tubes and attaches with D rings to secure.

Next I run straps over the smoker and secure to eye bolts. The legs of the smoker keep it from moving side to side, and back and forth. The straps hold it down.

I also run two smaller straps from the front legs to the chain hooks on my truck. These help reduce the side to side movement of the whole assembly while driving.

Had one of these for my dirt bike. Called the Ultimate MX Hauler. Worked great
