Thanks a ton for posting the link for chicken prep. When I was watching BBQ Pitmasters, I always saw the competitors complaining about chicken prep (mostly Myron!) but didn't really get to see why it is so time consuming.

Schlitz. Really. My dad used to drink it until the change then never touched it again. I never had anything but Schlitz II :icon_sick so I understood why he changed brands.

Let's see were I can get the gray matter to go. The afformentioned I believe are gone. As are, Meister Brau, Braumeister, Bull Frog, People's Beer, Fox Head, Weber, Cheif Oshkosh, Gettlemen, Gettlemen $1000 beer, Red White and Blue, Big Cat Malt Liquor, Andeker, Schlitz Malt Liquor, and Kingsbury.

Having grown up in Milwaukee and my father owning a liquor store my recelections of all these beers are still rather vivid. I read somewhere that Miller bought out either Meister Brau or Braumeister, in the 70's and used that recipe for Miller Lite. Red white and Blue was the bottom of the vat when they made Pabst.
