Do comps provide a hose connection for you or just a place to get water and you fill your own buckets to use?

Depends on your local area. Here in the South 90% of contests provide water taps - we carry 100' of hose and sometimes need every foot. In other parts of the country I've heard a single central dispensing point is the norm.
