Tonight the Smoked Chicken cooked on the ‪#‎KamadoJoe‬ was cubed. The juices were separated, so that the fatty drippings were used to make a roux, and the collagen drippings were used as a savory base to simmer vegetables. The Chicken gravy was mixed with cream of mushroom soup, corn, peas, carrots, potatoes, green beans and the smoky chicken to make Chicken Pot Pie from scratch. The Pie was baked at 375 until the crust was properly browned. It was left to set for 15 minutes before slicing.

Beautiful. Nicely done! Love pot pies. In fact, I think I am alive because of them. When I was going to college I had no money so I survived on the 2 for 1 pot pie specials at the local grocery store. Thanks for the post.
