Charcoal at a comp when it raining

One tip I can give you is to get the bags off the ground asap when it rains because if you wait when you lift the bag only the top will come with you. The charcoal will be left behind on the ground.

Not that that has ever happened to me our anything.

 sounds like a personal experience there.....

Most of the problem is just keeping the fuel dry at home, and at comps. Like someone else mentioned, charcoal works really well as a moisture absorbent material.... And after the 4 feet of rain in the past week, all my charcoal bags are like wet paper towels and the fuel inside is just as moist.

Rain or shine, my bag of charcoal stays in a trash bag until I'm ready for it. Cooked many times in the rain and never had an issue!
