I have been working on burnt ends for a while and I have been happy with them but have always felt like they could be much more. :icon_blush: Since it is the off season for competitions I have been working on them. Well yesterday I hit the flavor profile that i have been wanting. It tastes like BEEF, little flavor from the rubs, just the right amount of smoke, and they melt in your mouth like cotton candy. Man these things were good. :thumb:

"Burnt ends" has become somewhat of a misnomer, hasn't it?

Nevertheless, if I wasn't now full from bbq brisket nachos, I'd eat those! They look tasty. :thumb:

Looks outstanding! I need to start practicing mine also. Gonna have to cook brisket now that we're movin up from backyard division.

Thanks everyone. Burnt Ends are the favorite around here. Brisket is priced high around these parts most of the time but I found these Angus choice for $1.99 lb at Sam's Saturday. So I bought two of them.
