I made two burgers the other day. I had some time to play with and thought I would try and perfect my burger game with the UK weather getting gradually warmer. Here were the burgers:

Burger 1

Double beef patty, double cheese, double bacon, onion, lettuce and Red's devil win BBQ sauce.

Burger 2

Lamb, cumin and mint patty, halloumi cheese, lettuce, onion, sweet chilli sauce.

Just for a bit of fun, which one would you choose to eat? (I chose both!)

For me it's always going to be beef. My son likes to add this or that to his patties, and I have to admit he often grills up some tasty combinations. But when I return to 100% beef it always feels like coming home.

Since I have had neither lamb in the form of a burger, or halloumi cheese in any form I would chose #2. But they both look great

^The Burger Scholar (George Motz; published what is essentially the Burger Bible) kinda sucks at it (lol), how we do it here in its homeland (..and at one of the hardest jobs i've ever had, truly) spatula in the left/non-dominant hand, hammering it down each smear.

Both look great. If you made me pick, I would go with #1. Beef>lamb.
