Brke Down and Ordered Guru

I finally broke down and decided to abandom the Red Neck Guru and ordered a DigiQ and blower for the Stumps. I got an adaptor fot the BGE just cause it was only $20 extra.

And to think that 5 years ago I would have have bet money I'd only use a stick burner. I am getting old!

For mine it took about a week. Looks like a great unit, I sent my adapter to Peoria Custom Cookers so they can mount it in the firebox.

They are available and should ship fast. you can even find them new on ebay. I have always had great service from the Guru guys!

UPS tracking says delivery on the 28th. Late for Xmas, but in time for new years. Too bad prime rib only takes a couple of hours. Guess I'll break the blower in another nite.
