Went to winn Dixie today. "Rib fest"... spares, baby backs, and St Louis were all BOGO. So of course I grabbed 2 of each. All looked really good, nice marbling and they were Smithfield. I already have 2 big packs of spares in the freezer still in the cryovac bags from about 1.5 months ago. Needless to say I'm doing a 4 lb chuckie (recipe from DWFISK on here) and a rack of baby backs on Sunday. Just me, the wife and my 2 kiddos. Oh and Smithfield bacon was also BOGO! And ground chuck was on sale, so i guess the 2 lbs i bought will make for some burgers tomorrow for lunch . Went to buy some "daddy sodas" as my 5 yr old son calls them, lol, and upon checking the cooler I remembered that publix was BOGO on Blue Point IPA. Needless to say I paid my $65 meat bill at winn dixie, hopped in the truck and drove 5 mins down the street and grabbed a 12 pack of berrs for $10
How long do you guys let ribs stay in the freezer for if you stock up?
