I'm guessing it's easier to clean and maintain...don't have to worry about paint chipping and rusting.

The 337$ is from 3rd party seller because Amazon is back ordered. For those who still want to get from Amazon make sure you select Amazon as the seller, but the wait time is like 4 months (could change I guess). Alternatively Target is another option.
