I was bored and didn't know what to do for dinner so I decided to make a big ol burger. I just got back from a cruise and their burgers...weren't burgers so I was in the mood for one. I started off making the cheese slice for it.

Pepperjack, cheddar, milk, sodium citrate to transform it into creamy melty goodness. Into the bath until it all melted together.

When the cheese finished i blended it up to combine the cheeses and then poured into a form with some bacon mixed in.

While that set I fried up some onions.

Once cool I added to the cheese slice.

Now onto the burger. Started off with a 1lb patty (the one in the back is for the Mrs.). Seasoned with SPOG.

Got the joe jr up to 500 and threw it on. Added slice halfway through the 2nd side.

Was sooo good. Forgot the fried egg tho!:frusty: I blame the spirits. Thanks for lookin'!

That's my kind of perfect burger, there! Awesome!

Don't need none of that rabbit food or that green slimy crap.

I'd still hit it with an egg, though!
 
Thats one big Burger alright, cheese holds on ok?

Yeah, once you let the burger rest for like 5 min the cheese slice cools some and doesn't ooze all over. It's american cheese/velveeta texture but with real cheese flavor. I find myself doing it more and more.
