As I mentioned in another thread a while ago, I got 2 Prime CAB NY Strip steaks delivered from Rastelli's and was planning on cooking them soon.
Well sooner became later but I finally got around to grilling one of them (cut into 2 pieces because the wife likes them less bloody) on the MAK this past Sunday, December 12 at approximately 15:00.
Rubbed them with Carne Costa rub and cooked mine to 135 and the brides to around 142+.
I have to say it was probably the most tender strip steak I have ever had, but still with the right amount of chew. The flavor was also very very good.
No doubt the best steak I have ever made and one of the top 5 that I have ever had.
