There is not much in Benton. Just the normal fast food outlets, a couple of BBQ joints, a mexican and a chinese restuarant.

There is a town about 15 mintues northeast called Grand Rivers that has a restuarant called Patti's. Its about the nicest resturant around with great sitdown service. There is also a fish place called Willow Pond in Calvert City also about 15 minutes away with really good catfish and fixings.

You wont be disappointed with either of these choices.

IF you decide on Patti's make a reservation, its fills up fast on the weekends.

Smokin Em All BBQ will be there. This is my first KCBS comp. I also have a 25cfm pit bull fan would like to trade for a 10 cfm fan if anyone is looking for a bigger fan.

Got the rig all ready to go!! Washed it and loaded everything except the meat and beverages. Can't wait till Friday morning!! Ready for this comp year to start!!!
