May I ask why on the stone & not directly on those pretty grates?

I was worried that the weight of it might cause it to sink in as it cooked and become hard to remove from the grate...

Have you ever tried Meatloaf made with Ritz or Town House crackers?

My Grandma used to make her meatloaf with one of those and it was goooood.

Ritz crackers is what I'd typically use but I didn't have any on hand...
