BBQ Brethren "Cakes and Pies" Throwdown

Terry, been working all day and got back on this great forum. Went back and looked the the fifth pic of the pie you did. That may be the best looking apple pie pic I have ever seen. The you topped it with ice cream...OMG WOW!
 
Made one of my favorite cakes today on the BGE, a Double-Chocolate Rum Cake.

Pecan Pie ingredients

Cover pie crust with chocolate chips and pecans

Pour in the filling of sugar, corn syrup, vanilla and eggs

On the Big Green Egg at 400 dome temp for 50 minutes

Cool for 30 minutes

Slice and serve with ice cream and caramel sauce. Use this for the turn in.

This was fun. My first pie ever made on my egg.

Don't know if anyone cares much for chocolate here, but figured I'd give this cake a shot.
Only three ingredients needed (and only one pound of chocolate):

Eggs are whipped a lot

Butter and chocolate are mixed:

and grilled at 425 in a water bath for 15 minutes

I normally do a chocolate ganache, but for you guys I tried something different.
