Built a backyard fire-pit which I'm now trying converting to Firepit/BBQ. Any one know any reputable places in south Florida which fabricate BBQ grills (48"x33")? Attached are pictures of the contraption I plan on putting together.

Thanks Dave,

That grill/grate - http://postimg.org/image/4deh93hs1/

will work, but will need some rings welded. Four rings on the corners, so the engine load leveler can attach to, and rings on the sides, so a vertical pipe can be ran thru on both sides, to stabilize the grill grate as it is hoisted.

I'm pretty sure any small welding/fab shop near you could work off that picture and your dimensions. I would suggest making the frame out of 1 inch angle, the cross supports are 3/4 inch square tube (put them every foot to support the expanded metal) and the expanded metal grating is 3/4 inch by 9 gauge flattened. You can find rings in a variety of sizes at any good hardware or Tractor Supply. Good luck.

I cook on my fire pit often but I just throw a pipe across and a large grate on it. Someday I may add a Hi Tech adjustable system.

I'll save these links for when that happens - Thanks
