Back in the Saddle again

I actually fired the Spicewine today for the first time this year. I actually did a thorough cleaning one warm day back in late Feb. The next weekend I fell off the porch roof which resulted in multiple fractures in my left hip, lower right leg, and left arm plus a nice black eye. I am still hobbling around on crutches but in a few more weeks and I should be rid of them. I have friend whose daughter is graduating from HS this weekend and they asked if I could cook the meat for about 100 burritos. I of course jumped on it. Having never cooked anything for burritos I sought out opinions from a couple of the brethren and I am now a few hours from being finished. No pics as I can't do but so much with a crutch in one hand. Anyway it is great to be cooking again. My smokers have never had a break like this. I hope all you guys have a great weekend!

i am happy you hear that you are healing up,i was in a similar state back in 2007 and you really appreciate being able to get around and do things again on your own. Time will heal everything
