Looking forward to all the info on this as I'm looking at building a centerfeed as well. I've got a 60x20 tank I'm working with, I was originally going to go offset RF but like the idea of a centerfeed instead.
One question I'll ask and hope it benefits both of us, do the openings between the cc and fb matter as much as they would with an offset? I mean they're pretty calculated with the end fire box and I've seen some with just a flap and rod to adjust.
