You save $20 if you get the Bluetooth version ($179), no need for wifi IMO. I'm assuming the innards are the same, if so, I'd go Bluetooth instead.

Yup, they instruct you to use frozen food and ice cubes.
I have the first gen. Them pairing up with Kenji makes me wish I had the wireless ones for simplicity.
That just seems weird to me, and not something I'd ever do.
Ive never even attempted Bluetooth pairing with mine.
Have you tried the app now with seriouseats?
