G'Day Bruces! :becky:
A few months ago I bought a twin pack of Black Onyx Tri tip... I presume a lefty and a righty :loco:.
This was the second one as the weather is starting to warm up here in Melbourne (Lockitdownistan)
It's a nice tri tip for sure.
A nice dusting with some 3 Little Pigs Touch of Cherry:
After several hours threw it on the Webber alongside some sweet potato.
Planning to do sweet potato 2 ways: One baked, one fried as seasoned chips!:thumb:
Reverse Sear in progress started as 120F internal. At this point ya just put the thermopen away!
Then while the tri tip was resting in an old towel I grilled up some blanched broccolini
Rested... Looking beautiful.
Measure twice... cut once. About there.:becky:
Which gives you this!
With which you do this:
And serve like this:
Wagyu tri tip with grilled broccolini and sweet potato two ways.
It was a great dinner. Sorry about the last crappy photo. I was HANGRY!
Thanks for looking!
Cheers!
