3rd of July. Hotter than heck. No better time for a cold beer and a hot fire.
The Rocket Stove will be perfect for the job at hand.
Looking into the belly of the beast. Kindling Cracker has supplied a decent stack of Hickory splits.
The Jim Beam griddle is heated to over 600 degrees and my 3/4" strip steak is laid in place.
The fork is used for shoving wood into the fire. Not flipping the steak.
Steak is seasoned with Q-salt :thumb:
Now I don't use the click, click, drink, and flip method.
I'm more of a drink, drink, find the tongs, and drink kinda cook.
And one single flip is all it needs.
My method works.
And I submit another throwdown entry worthy of two, maybe three votes
Again I say "Thanks for lookin at my cookin". A cold beer and a hot fire makes me a happy man.
