Palehorse here, recent small scale RGC, and now I am looking to improve what I bring to competition. What is an item that bring you joy at the pit, or campsite? What is a simple pleasure or a mandatory item. To be sure, I have a pretty standard checklist of folding chairs and pop up tents etc. I know I need a Cambro box of some sort, but which one? Hammocks? Radios? Astro-Turf? Bean Bags for a public lounge?

Additionally, what is a product you swear by, that everyone should be using? A Wusthof 10 inch Bone Spliting knife? A Rolling Party Ice Cooler? A cocoon down travel pillow?... Thermapens not included.

Go hog wild. The collective here should put together a pretty good list over time and who knows...maybe this December 26th, our S.O.'s just might get us something herein.

Well I think that the Maverick ET732 is a must get item.

gloves (I am sure someone will have preferences - mine are just normal bbq, but welding gloves can probably handle more heat, and I have friends who do crazy stuff with silicone gloves on, butchering gloves are another story). Possibly bear paws (just got those). Fire Starter (I am using a weed burner, but looking for something portable). Love my Guru, but doubt it is on amazon. True Tel is on Amazon - but that is something that is pit decoration. Bottle opener (pit decoration again). Yeti - keeps beverages colder longer (probably good for holding a hot brisket too - but I only have one and the beverages are important).

Also might want to look into the fans that you can fill with water and they blow cold air out
