that's the largest roast I've ever seen!

how much farkin chili does an 11 pound roast make?

About half of it went into about 3 gallons of chili. I did two batches by doing it in a cast iron dutch oven (uncovered) on the smoker for about 3 - 4 hours using cherry & hickory at about 250*. The other half of the meat was pulled for BBQ beef at work.

make sure you remove the mouse ball before cooking, if you don't they have a metallic taste:shock:

It don't taste that bad if you cook them right... Haven't you ever heard of Rocky Mountain Mouse Balls???

I am so bummed...my wife went back to the market to pick up a few roasts and they were all gone. Oh well...shoulda woulda coulda... I'm still gonna do a chuckie this weekend...just not sure if it will be a 7 bone.
