so, who is in? are we going to start a thread for pictures or post them here?

i cheated again and didn't use store bought meatballs. i just can't bring myself to do it. got a naturewell chuck roast (on sale!) ground and then i ground a couple sirloin steaks and mixed them 50/50. i rolled them in a combination of benton's bacon salt, sm sweet and spicy, sm peppered cow and sm spicy apple. i took the leftover ground beef and made burgers for the kids. i probably made the moinks too large, but it is what it is and they are now on the bge......

Happy MOINK ball day!

It is pouring rain and storming like crazy here this weekend, so cheer me up with more pictures!

It was rainy most of the day, but I did manage to squeeze my balls, and make something happen.

My son & I whipped up some MOINK balls today.

Glazed them with a concoction of Blues Hog Original, BH Tennessee Red and some Crystal hot sauce.

Man can't live by MOINKs alone (plus we were pretty hungry) so whipped up some wangs.

We enjoyed celebrating International MOINK Ball Day with all y'all today!

Moinks on the kettle

I am another that does not like store bought balls..

Cooled and dusted with some Slap Ya Mamma.
Also prepped a Chuckie (S&P and Northwoods Fire blend).

Sauced with IQUE, from Chris Hart's Wicked Good BBQ book.

Not bad for a combo kettle cook (hopefully their certificate worthy, oh that's another thread)!
The finished pulled chuckie for those wondering.

Thanks for looking!
