Greetings Beak to Beak Invitees -
There are currently four teams competing in the Beak to Beak Invitational on Friday Sept 7th in Silver Lake, MI; Big Brother's BBQ, Full Metal BBQ, Motley Que Crew, and Rubbed Smoked and Sauced. The other teams have yet to respond to our invitation or have been scared off by your super natural chicken cooking abilities.
You four teams will be cooking for $500 in cash, free entry to Silver Lake Apple BBQ Festival in 2013 ($200 value), free entry to Armada Meats & Motors Cook-off in 2013 ($200 value), Meijer charcoal and wood chunks donated by Cancersuckschicago.com, sauces donated by Plowboy's BBQ, injections and marinades donated by The Ingredient Store - FAB, rubs and brines donated by Oakridge BBQ, rubs and sauces donated by The Slabs, injections and brines donated by Butcher BBQ, brines donated by Mad Hunky Meats, and rubs by Lotta Bull BBQ.

**********PLEASE NOTE**********
1. There is a mandatory cook's meeting at 2pm located at my trailer. Mark, Troy, and myself will go over the rules, turn in procedures, judging, answer your questions, and will provide you with your half pan turn in containers.
2. Each team is required to have a minimum of 10 pieces of chicken in their turn in container.
3. Please see me when you arrive on Friday to find out who is doing meat inspections. Remember you are only allowed to trim your chicken before inspection for example no brining, seasoning, injecting, rubbing, marinating, blessing, curing or anything else to that poor chicken before we sign off on your inspection.
If you have any questions that can not wait until the cooks meeting at 2pm on Friday please send them to the whole Beak to Beak committee.
