The best run, most enjoyable contests I have been to would be West Point, NE (when Rich Sterling ran it) and McLouth, KS.

If picking just one, I would choose Shannon, IL and/or the QLossal in Des Moines. Hope to make it to at least one of them this year.

Nobody can pick just one. Even if I couldn't afford but one, I would go to them all and either assist or just hang out.

Grand Rapids MI is home so I guess it but Silver Lake MI is a more cooker friendly contest. GR has worked on their problems and last year was better. Now if only they would get power (union problems I think).

I think MT Vernon IL may be the best run one that I have been to. Shannon IL is tops.
