13th place in chicken was across from us. After awards they were waiting for us back at camp. They were smiles from ear to ear and were proudly displaying their 13th place ribbon. They promptly thanked us for the rub that they bought from us yesterday morning. Maybe Yardbird Rub is the key to 13th place chicken. I can tell you that its at least good for 297th.

Absolutely.

I suggested to Phil last night that there should be a special award at Battle of the BBQ Brethren for 13th place chicken. Do the normal awarding from 10th through 1st, but for chicken, start at 13, then jump to 10. Maybe have a special trophy and banner for 13th chicken.
