I just got word that a friend's close family member passed away suddenly last night so I just offered to bring them all dinner tonight. Its been a while since I did a H'n'F butt. I have two good sized boneless butts (didn't realize they were boneless when I bought them) that I just threw on the pellet pooper at 285. I probably have just over 6 hrs until I need to take it to them (won't have any rest time to speak of).

Is this in the cards? How hot should I bump it to? 325? Higher?
 
325, how big is the butt? you can probably cut in half or more which will speed it up as well.


Foil with liquid to help braise will also speed it along
 
Did a 10lber yesterday. On the grill at 1030 on the plate at 7 yesterday. Could have been sooner but when I hit 175 I thought I might not hit my dinner time so I cut the temps.
