Well I know this is the right place to go too.. I have always made jerky with the Hi-Mountain jerky kits.. I am growing tired of them.. The wife wants some jerky so I knew u guys could help me!

I am looking for an easy marinade for jerky to throw on the silverbac wondering if you guys could share a recipe with me. I'm just looking for something with a different flavor than I'm use to with the dry seasonings/cure mix.

Thanks! And for those that will post recipes without a cure involved.. is it safe to dry? I know alot of marinades I've looked at never had a cure.. which I was worried about it being safe to dry.

I lay my slices out then using a mop I apply Dales low sodium to them followed by a healthy does of fresh cracked black pepper.

What one person like another may not, taste is just too subjective in many aspects.

Here is a beginner tutorial, with some marinade recipes at the end.
