Congrats to all the Brethren Teams who did so well!
Thanks guys! It was great to meat Chris and IQue and talk about Yankees/Boston and Q (although the hardest part of the whole Lime Rock experience was listening to Boston cleaning up the American League full blast on the radio!). It really helped to be next to the GC and RGC teams. Nancee and Greg (Purple Turtles) were really especially helpful to us. Nancee we couldn't have done as well without your help and the two day old potato! We learned a ton! Sincere thanks. We were surrounded by Brethren and a beautiful venue. We were cooking with surround sound car noises looking out on the picturesque foot hills of the Berkshires. It was great to remeat Michele and Lunchmeat. Eric, the berry crumble is the best! The Anchormen were very helpful and congenial. Nice to meat Steve (I Smell Smoke) in person and thank you again for your help with the Ridgefield venue. We flew the Brethren Banner with pride! It generated alot of comments and picture taking by the passing crowd. It is just beginning to sink in what we accomplished in our second comp (we all got to walk!). We are Primal Meat Smokers (L to R) Don, Craig and Cliff (the skinny one with the BBQ Cargo Pants sans belt (Thanks Willie B, I guess I should lose the socks too..). This was our event for the year but I am looking forward to seeing you all in different capacities over the summer. Being part of the Brethren is really a great experience....!
Sorry for babbling on (rookie enthusiasm)...
Yours in BBQ,
Cliff
