Thank you Westy. Not much to tell on the set-up. I put it down on my deflector support rack to get it as close to the coals as possible.

Thanks that is what I needed - I have a homemade deflector setup right now on my kamado, I might be able to pull it off with the setup I have but if not I will looking at picking up a deflector support rack. It'll be nice to re-purpose the weber cast iron!
