I think any kind of smoked meat would be tasty!

I'm gonna try that! I usually do pork, cheese and jalepenos in cornbread batter but having another option is always good.

Fantastic Jeanie! As I was scrolling down each pic just got better and better - just lovely!

I was thinking it'd be cool to maybe try that in muffin pans for individual serving tart like thingees, but then I thought about all the work involved, so, being the lazy sumbich I am, I think it will remain a thought. But - that whole pie thing - yeah, I'll be doing that! Thanks Jeanie!

lol Greg we must think alike! Little ones would be too much work for me too. Thanks for the kind comment!

Matt, Congratulations!! That's wonderful, way to go!!

Great looking Pie Jeanie! I'd try it, but probably end up being a scramble. Might be due to not having a CI pan.

I'll figure something out though...

I just got yelled at by the wifey...Apparently when asked "what are you looking at tonight?" The answer should not have been. "I'm looking at Cowgirls' "pie" and I want a piece of it!!"

the vision of that pie moved me in an emotional way!!! it has so much great stuff going on i have sensory overload. i had a moment right around "provalone"! when i saw the bacon i did the hippie hippie shake and when i saw it finished i stood up and sang a B sharp in falsetto! great job as always!

I'm gonna get the wife in on one of these......she's an 'outside the box' pie maker anyway........think fresh tomato & cheese pie...........she'll love the 'tatoes !!!!

Got all excited about this & told the wife........she says: "Yeah?........"

She's from Oklahoma & has already done this kind of thing ..........
