Awesome, this is the TD for me. I've learned how to bake, grill, nuke, and smoke food processed Chunky Soup over the last few months ... and it's less than $5 a can.

What a clown!

For Aussies and kiwi's, since our food costs are at least double, our limits for budget meals are $45....oh okay...but at least $30.
That way I can afford to cook "Looks Like Chicken"!

Marinated Nature

If I became one with nature and then Marinated it, how do we factor in the cost of Bullets, treestand, clothing, and most importantly my labor that went into dragging, cleaning, and packaging? Not to mention the over time. Holy Fark!!! That's alot of money!!!!

However, it goes this is pretty interesting? Plus I thought with the economy the way it is....I thought we werer all on a government budget....Oh wait that's right they just keep spending our money!!

I thought you had to get your nature marinated first before becoming one with it?

I was thinking along the same lines and want to suggest a special rule that if you included a mug shot, you would be considered an automatic win. Granted, you have to submit before the cutoff.

Anything I can do to increase the possibility that someone's TD entry will contain a mugshot.

Will we be required to submit receipts for approval?

Receipts are not required. If you want to provide a photo of a receipt, that is fine. Nobodies integrity is in question. I just want people to shop and compare what they are spending their hard earned money on.
No special rules. Let the voters decide.

So I'm a little confused, is this a meal for one, or a meal for 4, meal for 8...?

Sorry, there is no answer this one. We have an average of 7 adults in our household on any given Sunday. Normally our food bill well exceeds $15. But I would be willing to bet I could stretch my food dollar and somehow manage. Of course I would take into consideration items that are already on hand and account for that proportionately. Feed your crowd for fifteen bucks. It's simple. No special rules. Do what you can do.
