Thanks for not playing the Tebow card. :drama:

I love the minimalist approach less is more. The expression on your daughters face, she is either studying the artwork plated trying to interpret what the artist was trying to convey or thinking OK dad has finally lost it. Either way it is priceless. :clap2::clap2:

I am certain it is the "dad has finally lost it" expression.

Actually she wanted to play with the french fry cup thingy and was not so patiently waiting. It was the rest of the family that decided I had finally gone over the edge.

Yeah baby its Valentine’s Day and I have my first double entry. I’ve never really been a sculptor in fact the last thing I carved was my finger when I tried digging out a fish spine (long story). So back to the good stuff I had a nice Pichana roast sitting in the freezer just begging to be carved so I did just that I carved it into the shape of a heart and scored the trimmed fat cap with the image of Mona Lisa (whoever she is).

The masterpiece in the making was then thrown on the kettle where the unpredictable transformation is taking place, the scored image of Mona Lisa is not taking shape as I had planned but the heart is really coming into its own.

And here is the finished master piece My Plated Heart I simply call Meu coração grelhar de amor.

Now I really cant expect this to compete with the cute kid crutch but I did put my heart into it. :becky:

I need to get serious, and come up with something. I've been so busy, and the weather has sucked when I'm not busy. Maybe this weekend I can find some free time to cook.

Well... we're waiting. :heh:

Fark! It's been raining all day.

Actually, I'm very happy that it has been raining all day, since I live in Texas. But, I wasn't prepared for it.

I don't want to drive my car in the rain, because it is for sale and was just detailed. So much for shopping or cooking in the garage.

Be good to me, Sunday.

Mongo's pièce de résistance

I decided to develop a new art style to coincide with this Throw Down. I proudly announce the introduction of Snago Minimalist Art. Keeping with the Minimalist influence, I will let the pictures do the talking.

Please use the last picture, titled "Awareness", for the money shot. Mongo has left the building...

^^^:clap2::clap2: Nice work. You have truly displayed that you are a highly skilled snag lover.

I also love the magic trick where you made the veggies turn from white to yellow, orange, and green. Farking fantastic :thumb:
