Very nice job. Looks like an all day affair. What were the kids roasting? I could not tell from the pic's.Hopefully your BBQ business will get a boost from that great feast ya had.

It was pretty much a 24 hour Q. I started the PP in my COS the night before and finished it in the big rig. Ribs took about 5-6 hours (3-2-1 method). The kids had bread on a stick to roast over the campfire. Fortunately my company paid for the BBQ and that included a gift for each collegue, a bottle of sweet baby ray's.

real good stuff!!! juicy!!! how did you translate from your COS to the rented rig? with no test runs or time for a learning curve, any problems or was it smooth sailing all the way?

The rented rig is so much easier to control, this was the second time I used it but even the first time was pretty much smooth sailing. I'm now saving for a quality offset but that is no cheap buy.
