When in doubt throw it out, Bro!
Or at the very least don't use it in a comp.

No pics here, JD.
As an aside, funny, I was reading about MILDEW in the latter part of ch. 14 in Leviticus (one of the books of the Jewish Pentateauch or the Christian Old Testament) just this morning. (No irreverence to the Good Book, but I highly suggest this book if you wake up at 3 AM and can't get back to sleep.) Anyway, ya don't hear too many preachers preach on the passage, but I'd suspect Moses might declare your smoke "unclean". :becky:

Agree.
Now about those termite holes?
I have some chunks with some little spots on them and was wondering the same thing so I looked around and found this statement on smokinlicious.com's Do's & Dont's site:
"DO consider sanitizing wood prior to throwing it away or burning it for heat. You can easily sanitize wood by mixing 1.5 oz. of bleach to 3 gallons of water. Be sure the wood is completely covered for 2 minutes, prior to removing and allowing to drip dry."
Now I haven't tried this yet as I've been using all of my clean smoke wood but I'm planning on eventually trying this.
