OK, there were a couple more that I thought HAD to be included just for completion's sake. I was hoping that someone else would make these, so I wouldn't have to bother. One of these was going to be something like this:

Note this is not an entry. It was an entry some months ago and I believe our own Grand Poobah is going to make one that would have blown this one away. The other I was counting on Chris to make, but it appears that he's completely burnt out, so unfortunately, I have to make one instead. I chose to make it in his style though to honor him. Of course here are the vital ingredients:

and I know you know the procedure already,

I'm making this McRib Fattie a la Bigabyte, which means I wrap the whole sucker up:

Yeah, that's it, just like that:

I cooked this one hot and fast:

Loved those "Blackened Arches" -- while I put ground red pepper on the rest of the fattie, I did the arches in brown sugar, making arch candy. How did it look inside?

Mmmmmm, doesn't that look yummy!

Well folks, corporate called down and said they want us to finish our supply of McRibs and then take down the signs.

Try and keep this secret, won't you? We don't want everyone to know the McRib Throwdown is about to end, because it is supposed to be a surprise.

My guess is that we have enough to get through Wednesday, at which point we will close down the McRib Throwdown. If you have any special requests for a McRib after Wednesday, let me know and I will save some for you, making yours the last and final McRib(s) of this Throwdown.

Thank you all for your hard work, but most of all for your tolerance with what I think has been the most fun Throwdown since maybe the Burger Throwdown...heck, maybe even better due to all of the creativity!

I still have not seen a Mc Rib here on my shores, despite the impression that the McRib Mothership buzzed Sydney, quickly followed by a meteor shaped like Shanes Brisket..... Smokejumper was also unable so smuggle said item, or even a wrapper into the country in Tessa's diaper bag...

Those danged customs dudes in the airport were very thorough.... looks like I'll be unable to enter....

I will advise when the illusive item does make it's a appearance in Melbourne!

Cheers!

Don't worry Phil! I'll keep this open until you get some time. I definitely understand how busy work can get!:thumb: It wouldn't be right to have a McRib Throwdown without the creator of the Farkin' Fwoosh making another rib sammich in there somewhere.

And here they are.. problem is my camera seems to be missing. Possibly somethign stolen when the car was broken into at The Royal so I was limited to my phone camera. Not that Im any photophile, but hopefully they get the point across. If this stays open another few days, I will get asomething else up tomorrow that I planned on doing, but ran out of time.

Started with 3 racks BB, 2 racks of spares.

Wow! Too bad about the phone, that thing looks killer!:hungry: I think every step had me drooling a bit more and more.

I said if anyone has anything planned and wants me to keep it open a bit longer that I would do that, so go ahead and do the other thing and I'll leave it open for it.

If anyone else is wanting to add another dish, please let me know so that I wait until I see your dish before closing this Throwdown.

Man, that is incredible, I would eat some of that for sure. I suspect trying to eat all of it would put me back under doctor's care. But, I would give it a try.
