That's why I bought new drums. I can buy new closed head drums for under $50.

If you grind it, get some good earplugs, dust masks, and safety glasses.

I had the same liner in it & I fought with it for a couple of days until one of my boys sand blasted it for me (old, fat & lazy mod).

I was just going to say.... Why not media/sand blast it, probably cheaper than burning all that wood and propane? Most of the shops around here that do that work, are very reasonable. I'd call Eagle on K-32/KS AVE if you are in the KC area.
