Almost 10 years ago an old phriend of mine took me for breakphast in Amsterdam,it was at a very small place in a alley in the busiests streets of Amsterdam.
They serve(d) some good stuph and the tuna recipe is what I copied from tasting and looking at it.
I haven't made it in a long time but since I met y'all I stepped my game up a little.

Shrimp sandwich is in courtesy of my Mom.:cool:

I'll have to ask my Mom for her shrimp recipe but here's what I think is in it:

Shrimp sandwich:

@1 T Scot:thanks!

@Guerry:your cats would love the tuna!

@Jay Bird:thanks for the compliment!

@North:you would hit it hard especially after "dessert"!

@Lola:thanks Sweet Stuph!

@RTD:I think it came from a Big Chick...:biggrin:

Mind sharing recipes:-D

Both sandwiches look awesome, the wife would be all over your shrimp...:icon_blush:

:lol:

No problem Ron!
Just called Mom I was right about her recipe!:-D
Only things she added also was a bit of shrimp paste and grated coconut.

I made the tuna salad for years and made many friends with it.:wink:
Maybe you don't have all the ingredients at home in the list above but here's the old recipe how I made it before yesterday:

-canned tuna
-tomato
-pickles
-red onion
-parsley
-ground pepper
-seasalt (most of the time tuna is allready salty so often I don't use salt)
-mayonaise (just enough to make the tuna more spreadable)
-little bit of ketchup

If you add some boiled eggs,capers,cooked/grilled/smoked potato's to the tuna you'll have a nice meal!:wink:
