Nice work! I love me some fried turkey, especially supersized ones.
 
Looks good. I'm about to crank my fryer up too for some hot wings.

Do you season the skin before frying? I do mine without seasoning (except for a little injection) as not to gunk up the oil as much. I then season the skin immediately after removing from the oil (like french fries).

If you cook it without oil is it really frying? Seems more like baking or broiling?
 
Wow! I had no idea when I first saw this thread the the turkey was not cooked in oil! It looks just like a fried turkey!:shock:
