Finally got around to doing paella. It came out really good for a first time.


Started with cutting and marinating some chicken thighs first

Decided to cook on my Santa Maria grill and the 20" pan fit perfect

Sautéed some onions and garlic than went in the chicken to brown up

Seafood medley and some wine

Then the rice

Mixed it all together

The "KEY" ingedient: Saffron

Chicken stock went after and I covered it to cook the rice for about 20 mins

Once the rice was just about done I put in the crab legs, mussels, clams and the shrimp
