Put a bag of Frozen cyrovac pork butts in fridge to thaw last Saturday, today discovered a leak in the crybaby bag a red liquid has spilled out, luckily onto a towel o placed them on.

Are butts still good to cook? They where not leaking when I placed into freezer

Should be fine but you better cook soon as the cracked cryo will lead to spoilage. If the temp is good then its safe but if its long on the defrost it may spoil. Imagine how long you would keep a piece on styrofoam and wrapped in plastic.

I wouldn't see why not unless they smell bad. Cryos can get holes and not all meat is full sealed. Case in point, the cases of chicken we'd get would be in bags that were in boxes. Those bags would be open at the tops but still in the box. The box of course was not sealed. Never bothered our health inspector.

Assuming they were within the "use by" date when you froze them, then you should be good.

The packages are voided of air and then a little nitrogen is put into the bag before vac-sealing them. This voids the package of oxygen thus slowing down anything that could cause spoilage.

If there are no brown spots, and no obvious signs of spoilage, then you should be good to go.
