Anyone try these, I just saw them this past week.

Very interesting. I saw these at Kroger the other day and almost picked up an experimental bag... still might.

Possibly new marketing for Kingsford's older mesquite/hickory line of briquettes?

Golfers always trying to improve their swing. Shooters always trying to group tighter. There is no reason a backyard chef shouldn't try to improve his/her game as well. Try it. Keep trying others. You never know when the panacea is going to show up. I have my regulars but I am constantly trying others. Have enough faith in your favorite to experiment with others. I cook out with coals 3-5 days minimum per week. It's no problem working in a newbie. I'm going to try it. Thanks for posting.

Can't be worse than pellets? Or can it......

Sure! If it is smashed together with chemical binders and minerals to "enhance flavor" :becky:

Man, I should give KF more credit, at least there Competition Briq line is pretty good...
