12 lbs of Flank Steak
Marinade: Lime Juice, Oil, Fajita Seasonings, Spicy Seasoned Salt.
Partially froze and then sliced thin prior to cooking.

Got a nice fire going in the fire pit and put on the discada.
I first warmed the tortillas - I could do 12 at a time on the discada - and then put them in a crock pot to keep warm.
I then cooked the steak in 8 batches.

Pico, Onion, Cilantro, Lime.

I've made two Discada's... a 22" and a 18".
I put the traditional horseshoes on mine for handles.

I like to take mine camping with us. Great for stir fry and great for huge breakfasts.
Nothing quite like frying 1lb diced Potatoes then frying 1lb bacon and lastly
scrambling a dozen eggs, then setting the Discada on a piece of 2"X10" board on the picnic table.
Everyone helps themselves. Nothings ever leftover...

I'm going to make one more 22" and donate it to a local Boy Scout Troop that camps a lot...
I'm going to make larger handles on this one, out of re-bar.

thanks for the pics. i'm really liking that setup. simple but effective.
i assume there is just a plate inserted into the rim to put the fire/coals on.

As you can tell, it is a truck rim.
There was the hub + three holes.
They've just been patched.
