Do major MFG's bring units to sell ???

.. I am over 3 hours drive southwest of SLC, but will seriously consider attending ..... especially if some of the top smoker manufacturers bring units for sale. Unfortunately, I am only looking for a smaller 'patio' type unit but when I see them on websites .... packing & shipping usually adds a huge amount (like >$500.). I can contact some of the obvious companies directly, but hoping your experience might provide some insight.
