Recently Smoke Dawg posted some very nice mods he made to his Yoder YS640.
https://www.bbq-brethren.com/forum/showthread.php?t=263699

This got me thinking I should show more of what I have done to mine. Some of you probably saw my “Stack Rack” utensil holder in a previous post but since then I made a new and improved version.
The “Stack Rack” can be rotated 360* for best positioning and can be lifted off easily if need be.
Also made a stainless utensil holder for the end of the right shelf.

I know this smoker holds more utensils than anyone should be allowed to have, but hey, why not? :biggrin1:

For moving this heavy beast around I made a handle to fit in place of the right shelf. Just lift the shelf off and slide the handle into the shelf mounting holes.
In the picture the handle looks extremely long but it is only 3.5 ft. It’s easy to use and easy to reinstall the shelf. Sure makes moving this beast easier.

Thanks for looking.

Handle idea is nice, but I haven't moved mine since the day it was delivered. If I moved it often, that would be a must have. I don't like hanging my utensils, they just get in the way, and are always dirty, when you get ready to use them. Nice job though.

Thanks Josh, I just hung a bunch of utensils on there for the pictures. I don’t store them there.
When in use I rarely have more than 2 hanging there.

Nice work

I like when people make things to improve what they want.

That's awesome! I always thought why they didn't make a handle on this as I constantly move mine back and forth from the garage.
