Congrats, Julie! To my surprise, we got picked too. I think it helped that I promised the selection committee that we would be bringing an exceptionally charming, witty and good-looking team, but now the rest of the team says I can't come without breaking the promise.:sad:

It's prolly peak-season price-wise, but we can prolly make it happen. Got a place right near me, usually has good prices.

I agree the process is fair as it's their contest & criteria.. I also agree that there a bunch of new teams. I was just expecting to a more substantial shift to a predominant list of well known/traveled/high ranking teams (not to take away from these 14 new teams or any returning teams) as that seemed to be part of what Harpoon wanted in addition to the need to vend aspect.

I wonder how many teams who competed last year and re-applied this year were rejected ?
