American Bass Anglers Barbeque Cook-Off Sponsored by Early Times Whisky July 18, 2009

The inaugural event at Paris Landing State in Park, Paris, Tennessee on Beautiful Kentucky Lake is only 30 days out July 18, 2009.

This event is being held in conjunction with the Bassmaster Weekend Series Bass Tournament being held the same weekend at Paris Landing State Park.

The cook-off is for both Professional and Backyard Teams and is KCBS Sanctioned. These events will be a lot of fun, but, at the same time, will offer the highest KCBS standards for BBQ judging and competition.

The event will also feature a concert by “Critical Condition” Saturday night.

Lowe’s has partnered with American Bass Anglers to bring “Let’s Build Something Together” workshops to this event.

Do you like NASCAR? How about some “Unlimited Access” Passes???? A drawing will be held for tickets for 2 lucky people to be “Honorary Pit Crew” for Scott Wimmer at the NASCAR Nationwide Series in Memphis on Oct. 24th—giving unlimited access to the entire pit area!

There’s more! Kevin Rake the Early Times ABA Pro-Staffer and Rick Tilson the Royal Purple ABA Prostaffer will hold two fishing clinics. Everything you wanted to know about how to Bass fish for fun and in tournaments. BBQ Team Members can get personal coaching from these two seasoned prostaffers. At the end of the day Rick and Kevin both will take BBQ Team members for boat rides and maybe a little fishing.

See the latest in Triton Bass Boats, Pontoons and Toyota Tundras Trucks.

There will be some additional special prizes and awards and well as at afternoon at 3pm, spectators will be a part of the weigh-in for the Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Weekend Series Tournament!

The entire event will be covered with a live radio remote and will also be featured in the Sept/October 2009 issue of the American Bass Angler Magazine. So, smile for the cameras!

Every team that gets involved with the ABA BBQ Tour this year will be given priority registration for the 2010 tour.

Fishin’ & ‘Quein--- what could be better?
