The snow is falling here in Montana.

That would have been the end of smoking season for me, because I used to use a stick burner and I’m not going to freeze my nuggets off sitting outside tending the fire.
Now that I’ve invested in a Humphrey’s BattleBox, I can roll smoke year round. The BB got to and held temp like a champ. Best money I’ve spent.

We had 3” by 11am, 12” by the end of the day and it’s still coming down.

Pork back ribs, Cholula binder (usually use Louisiana Hot Sauce), Memphis Dust rub.

Finished product, no wrap, no spritz, just a little sauce mop and rub dusting towards the end.

Them "Snow Ribs" look fantastic!!
That insulated smoker changes everything and now you can enjoy smoking all year round.

Well that smoker should make the long winters a bit more bareable. Doesn't look the the BB cares one bit that it's snowing just wants to put out good ribs.

Way to go. Those Humphrey's are really nice from what I see/hear. Never seen or used one, but when I was in my vert cab phase I was lookin' hard at them.

Post more snow cooks. They're cool. No pun intended.
