Hey guys, living in Minnesota theirs not much BBQing going on. I have a 20" Dia.Texas built pit with both horizontal and vertical and a off set fire box. I'm looking at adding a Digi Q set up,soon.
I've read that filling a charcoal basket with unlit charcoal and adding lit coal to the top will give even heat for several hours...?
Klose makes a Charcoal "snake basket" that coal burns in,lasting many hours also. They look very well built, but very expensive also.
Any one have experience with ether one ? I'd like to get set up now so I'm ready this spring
Thanks in advance

i havent, but i have a 20x48 pit that i use. ive been interested in using a charcoal basket as well but havent gotten around to making one. interested to see the responses
